Sandman Hotel Lethbridge

We had an event at the COAST hotel we had two rooms booked there but they cancelled our rooms the day of the event with zero remorse trying to make us pay for a broom closet room with no windows. So we called Sandman and it was super easy friendly and respectable. The rooms were clean, the breakfast in the morning was delicious and front desk staff were super helpful and considerate!!!!

We were very satisfied with the room. We usually stay at this hotel when we visit Lethbridge and with the Denny's restaurant being connected is a definite plus.

Nice hotel, stayed there many times before. Good parking for larger vehicles. The only downside is getting hassled by the homeless in the area. Not the hotels fault and they do their best to keep them from accosting the patrons as much as they can.

Love the Staff!! Helpful and Friendly Room is clean for older hotel. Need some tender loving care on Maintenance however manageable.

Great hotel, maybe not the fanciest place but if you need a clean room with a good bed I would recommend. Carrie and the rest of the Sandman staff are amazing too, always helpful taking care of our reservation needs and getting things sorted so our stay is seamless and easy.

I actually visited this hotel when it was under construction in the early 1970s, so I was curious to see what it was like many years later. The rooms were pleasant and clean. The view of Lethbridge (from the 9th floor) was impressive - I could see the neighbourhood I grew up in. There have been security concerns in the area, but the hotel had a security guard stationed in the parking lot overnight. That was reassuring. The room included breakfast, but instead of providing the typical mediocre toast and juice normally found, they provided coupons for the Denny's restaurant (located in the same building). That gave a much better than average breakfast. I was very pleased to see that the hotel continues to be well managed and in good shape - just as it was on our wedding night over 40 years previous! :)

Stayed for a two week trip. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Door hangers were provided to request room cleaning or additional towels, etc. That was very nice. The free breakfast was decent. The gym was excellent with great air conditioning and multiple machines, including a top-notch multipurpose workout machine that you could do dozens of different exercises. There was a heated pool next to the gym that was perfect right after a workout. No hot tub, though, which I would have preferred. My only concern was the location, which was on a major 4 lane road, so traffic noise was very noticeable, but nothing white noise couldn't fix. Overall, it was very satisfactory and great value.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The Front Desk team was outstanding — so friendly and helpful throughout the weekend. Nathan was on several shifts and was fantastic, and Alexis was amazing both before our trip (helping with arrangements) and again when we checked out on Sunday. There were other very helpful front desk team members, but I unfortunately do not know their names. Housekeeping also did a great job — thank you to Ginette and her team for keeping everything spotless and welcoming. Crystal, thank you as well for coordinating our block booking and following up afterwards. We’ll definitely be back later in the hockey season and will happily recommend this hotel to other teams.
